Richard Coiley
Richard Coiley is a British writer and artist who loves to explore the gritty darkness of horror and science fiction in his novels and artworks which he shows on YouTube as @TimeWastingHero and his website, RichardCoiley.com.
He self-published his first novel, Limbo, in April 2012 and his second, Purging Paradise, in February 2013. He grew up watching films and TV shows from various genres and developed a visual approach to storytelling. He is inspired by the eerie and grounded tales of H.P. Lovecraft, H.G. Wells. But mainly admires the visually stunning movies of John Carpenter, Ridley Scott, James Cameron, George A. Romero and many others who share the same passion for storytelling in the sci-fi and horror genre. He enjoys having a creative imagination which he has nurtured since childhood and letting his mind wander into fun, horrifying and sometimes surreal possibilities for his work.
