Sales and Distribution

The Book Guild Ltd is one of the few independent publishers to have a dedicated team of sales reps on the high street, meeting with and presenting new titles to booksellers face-to-face. Sales are important, more than ever. We have the machinery and network behind us to ensure that a book is more than simply ‘available’ – that it stands a fighting chance of actually being ordered by bookshops and online retailers. Sales reps are key to the mainstream book retail trade, and our team are experienced professionals. We are in touch with our sales reps every day, and we present our new titles twice yearly to the team at their sales conference at The Oval. Book Guild titles can be bought or ordered from any bookseller in the UK, including from online retailers. We have accounts with all the key UK bookshop chains, wholesalers and library suppliers, with whom our experienced reps have long-established relationships.

Trade orders can be made directly with our distributor in the UK and our overseas sales representatives. Personal orders should be placed on this website using our online bookshop. Authors requiring copies of their own book should contact The Book Guild.
