On the surface, the village of Umbridge is perfect: a proud and happy place where the sun always shines, where the houses and gardens look immaculate, and where children go to a good school and can go on to university to study Law or Medicine or History or English or the Classics (whatever they are).

But beneath the surface, Umbridge is home to a dark, mysterious secret. Twelve years ago, a tragedy occurred that shook the village and, although they hardly ever talk about it, no one has forgotten the unexplained disappearance of a six-year-old boy. Now, the mystery is about to resurface, and the proud and happy people of Umbridge – including 10-year-old rascal Benjamin Crew – must face their biggest challenge since losing the Best Village in Bloom contest.

A page-turning tale of mystery, mud and mayhem!

(From Amazon): This is a great read for older primary school children and adults alike. It is an engaging and intelligently written book that introduces an intriguing and unique story with some great characters. My daughter loved it and we were left eagerly awaiting the next part to be released to discover what will happen. The book itself is quality – hardback with some great illustrations.

(From Amazon): This was a fab read. A story with a clear plot and interesting characters. I could relate with the main characters and it gave me a sense of building to a climax. The sketches are fab too.Mole Man Part 1 I look forward to volume 2 being released.
