Paul Youden

Paul was born in Dover (a wartime Dovorian baby!) and was educated at Kent College, Canterbury, where he spent a number of years from the age of 7 as a border. Paul was given a five-year apprenticeship on the Kent Messenger, following which he joined Kent’s other newspaper – the Kentish Express where he spent eight years and rose to county News Editor. Paul then worked for the BBC Radio in London and later joined the Port Authority at Dover rising to Corporate Affairs Manager before taking early retirement and resuming his journalistic career. His first crime novel – The Powder Man – was published in September 2015 and Paul is currently working on the Sequel as well as another novel.
