Amelia is a girl who seems to have everything – a loving family, a promising career in a bank, and plans for the future with her fiancé Alex. But out of the blue her dreams are shattered when she discovers Alex’s infidelity. Her first reaction is to get away, as far away as she can, and she heads off on holiday alone to the idyllic village of Bachl in the Austrian Tirol. Slowly the tranquillity of the mountains and the warmth of the villagers begin to heal Amelia’s soul. Seeing she is on her own, the local people invite her into their homes and lives, where she finds herself falling in love again, this time with the Tirol. When she is offered the chance to stay on and work the ski season Amelia doesn’t have to think twice. She jumps at the chance, little realising that her life will never be the same again. A man with laughing green eyes and a less than perfect reputation is watching her, and he has plans of his own.
