Her story introduces new friendships and is cleverly interwoven with insights into her cultural heritage as she keeps some of the Chitpaavan traditions of her parents and becomes a British woman of the 80s.

Will she establish a business against the odds? Will she find the love she so desires? Will she fulfil her dream of becoming a mother? She certainly has the courage to take a chance in life‚ but just where will it lead her?
