Six Men and One Woman
Browsing in an antiques market one day, a local author is approached by an elderly man who holds an astonishing secret. Would he be willing to write his story, after his death? Reluctantly he agrees to hear the old man?s tale, and as it is told begins to realise that he is hearing history literally being rewritten.
Did Hitler truly die in his bunker at the end of the Second World War? Rumours had always abounded, but here, finally, was the proof that he did not. Instead, he was smuggled out of Germany and a double trained to take his place. With him went several high-ranking SS officers, and a large amount of contraband in the form of priceless art treasures plundered by the Nazis from all over Europe.
This small band of fugitives gradually sold the artwork on to private dealers over the next twenty years, using the funds raised to assist in the rebuilding of the fatherland.
This is their story, and reveals the final fate of the Great Dictator once and for all.
