Saint Finnian's Gold

Saint Finnian's Gold
Viking raiders laden with plunder are carrying the sacred crown of St Finnian to Cork in the hope of a large reward. On the way, they are attacked – but the youngest member of the crew carries the precious crown ashore and hides it carefully. Back in the present day, the Virksston family are on holiday on the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast. The three children, 14-year-old twins Ruth and Joshua and their younger brother Matthew, 12, are each given a very special present by their Great Uncle Ezra when they pay him a visit on the way, souvenirs that he has picked up during his many years of sailing around the world. Camping with their parents Walter and Tilly, their Uncle Ben and his glamorous girlfriend Angel, the children have a holiday full of adventures, from underwater rescues to saving the fortunes of their campsite. Inspired by a museum where they go to see the remains of a Viking longboat found nearby, the children decide to bury a time capsule. With the help of Great Uncle Ezra’s present, this has life-changing results!
