Jason's Journey

When Mandy Dean?s beloved dog Jason is taken away from her as punishment for her bad behaviour, she must travel through fairyland to the Land of Lost Dogs to win him back. Accompanied by the sprite Robin Goodfellow, Mandy visits such enchanting places as the Land of Make Believe, where the trees are made of chocolate and liquorice, and the Forest of the Deep, where she travels in a chariot pulled by sea horses. Mandy encounters a host of magical characters on her journey including Dapple the Faun, Fairy Dumpling, the Weaver of Dreams and the great god Pan himself.

But not all of fairyland is beautiful and magical. In Now-a-days-Fairyland, Mandy discovers that modern children?s lack of belief in fairies is turning the world into a bleak and ugly place, where the fairies are miserably unhappy. But all is not lost! All it takes for a fairy to get back its wand and wings is for one child to believe. So go on, join Mandy on her journey, close your eyes, wish hard and BELIEVE.
