George Wilson endured a hard childhood in post-war Scotland, harshly treated by his father and bullied by his classmates, but even in those early days he drew strength from a belief in the benign supernatural and the possibility of eternal reincarnation.

As a young man working in the steel industry and later as a professional welder, he found his routine, hum-drum welding days gave him the time to ponder the profundities of our lives on this earth: as he worked, he meditated, and as he meditated so he enriched his soul and expanded his understanding.

During his time in the army on National Service he encountered a darker side of the spiritual world and, while terrifying, discovered that this, too, broadened his perspective and deepened his perception of the world.

In this remarkable book he describes his personal journey to self-realised enlightenment in the hope that it will inspire others to do the same.
