The damsel who rescues her has a most unusual gift, which leads Angela into more scrapes, where she encounters the strangest animals and has an hilarious episode with a vertiginous horse.

Angela's Adventures in Rum-Tum Land is a refreshingly twee-free fantasy. And while it may remind readers of another book in which a little girl gets lost in a wonderland, Angela's Adventures in Rum-Tum Land has a charm and imagination all its own.
