Bella Smart loves her job as a local reporter on the Haybridge Gazette, adores her fiercely-freckled, football-mad daughter Emily even more, isn?t madly keen about having uncontrollable red hair, and has absolutely no time for hotshot Detective Sergeant Jonathan Wright, sent from the Met to solve a series of puzzling burglaries.
